Current Research

My graduate research is focused on developing a fertigation-on-demand system for agricultural systems. This fiber-optic and enzymatic-based system will provide nutrients and moisture to crops only when needed, which will allow for more efficient and sustainable use of precious resources. I have conducted many experiments and enzymatic assays using a nano-isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) machine and then analyzed the data using Nano-Analyze software and Microsoft Excel. I am currently in the process of building a lab-scale prototype of our system to validate results.
